  As we begin to wind down the 2024-25 school year, here’s a look back at the annual @laschools CTE-Linked Learning Student Showcase & Advisory Luncheon at @calendow. It was a powerful day of career exploration, student innovation, and collaboration with industry leaders.<br><br>Students from across LAUSD’s 400+ CTE pathways wowed attendees with hands-on demos and career-ready skills, connecting with partners like @baftaus, @pbssocal, @keckschoolusc, @intuit, and more!<br><br>Big thanks to all who made it happen — your support fuels our students’ futures and we can’t wait for next year!

• 5:18 The Linked Learning Portfolio Defense

  As part of graduation requirements, students in LAUSD Linked Learning pathways spend four years assembling a portfolio of their work. As a senior, before culmination, students select evidence from the portfolio and orally defend it by presenting it in front of a live panel.<br><br>Students who successfully complete their defense will demonstrate they have met the standards of the LAUSD Graduate Profile, with states they will be Self-Advocates, Open-Minded, Adaptable and Effective Communicators.
