The LAUSD CTE-Linked Learning department sponsors hundreds of internships for CTE and Linked Learning students throughout the school year and the summer.
Students, if you are interested in an internship please review the process below and fill out
this form.
The CTE-Linked Learning work readiness program, outlined below, ensures that students are ready for an internship and graduate prepared for the world of work.
Students complete the requirements to earn the Internship Ready Certificate - support network, resume, cover letter - during the CTE concentrator course or with their counselor.
Students who earn the Internship Ready Certificate are eligible to apply for a district-sponsored internship with one of many district partners.

Students in a district-sponsored internship or CTE-LL course further demonstrate their readiness for the world of work by earning the Work Ready Badge with successful completion of the mock interview and financial literacy.
Teachers or counselors provide instruction and feedback to
concentrator students to earn the Internship Ready Certificate - support network, resume, cover letter.
CTE-LL coordinator provides in-class support, as needed.
Students submit the first draft of their artifacts on tutor.com and use feedback to revise. Teacher scores final student artifacts with
CTE-LL coordinator input.
Students with proficient artifacts earn the Internship Ready Certificate and are eligible
to apply for an internship.
School site schedules mock interviews with CTE-Linked Learning coordinator
and instructs students
to complete
financial literacy.
Students in internships complete mock interviews and financial literacy,
if not already completed.
Students who successfully complete
the mock interview and financial
literacy certification are recognized
with the Work Ready Badge.
